Time to work on yet another turntable

This time its a Technics SL-D3 direct drive turntable.

Oh, did I mention it was given to me?

My vinyl days are just beginning…

I just fixed up my Akai AP-B1 turntable tonight, tone arm adjustment and all. Outfitted it with a Stanton D51 cartridge and stylus that came from my much nicer JVC JL-A20. The JVC will soon be getting a new belt and the Stanton cartridge will be replaced with an Audio-Technica AT 92ECD. Then to adjust the tone arm on it. I can’t wait to hear what it will produce. I need to get more vinyl…
