Canon EOS Rebel T2 first film load

Just loaded this thing with film for the first time. Bought the batteries on clearance tonight and decided it was time to test it out. Hopefully I can shoot with a lighting setup tomorrow and maybe some other situations as they present themselves. I put in a roll of expired Focal 200 ISO film, one of 2 rolls that I got in a lot of camera gear for $1.99 (a lot which has already paid for itself partially with the LowePro case I’m using for the T2)

Soon to be selling my K1000 and a few lenses and accessories too. I gotta get rid of some stuff. Out with the old, in with the new. I cant be nostalgic forever.

Anyone know how the market is for vintage film cameras and lenses?

I’m wanting to sell most of my little collection because I want to focus more on digital. 

Got another lens today, for $2

Sure its just another old manual 50mm f1.7 Auto Sears, but it makes for some really nice shots. And the price was right. But heck, half the fun is in the excitement of finding things like that hidden in the back of a display case at a thrift store.

So they sold the camera I wanted right out from under me

I had first pick, and they didn’t give it to me. Not to mention they sold it for less than half of what I was willing to pay. Idiots piss me off.
