If something’s delusional I’m not going to support it. I’m not going to support someone believing a lie. Ever. That shouldn’t be what makes you happy anyway. Happiness founded on a lie is a lie in and of itself. That’s not real happiness. It’s possible to be happy without being delusional. I don’t think there’s anyone in life that I fully support every thing they do or believe, that doesn’t mean I view them as less of a person or anything else. There are friends, siblings, and coworkers that I love that have completely different values and worldviews than me, and I’m not going to get all up in their business about it. But I’m just saying, if you ask me “do you think it’s okay that I’m otherkin?” I’m going to say “No.”
A million times, yes… This is less about “otherkin” to me than other things, because I haven’t actually heard anyone identify themselves as such outside of on the internet. But the rest of this post, absolutely.
