I've finally got my shop in enough order to work...
My tools are neatly organized in my big Kennedy toolboxes and the workbenches are cleared off for the most part. Now to be anal about sorting all my nuts/bolts/screws/nails/small parts into their own little plastic drawers or snap boxes.

New photo gear!
I got a light stand, umbrella, umbrella bracket, 16Gb Class 10 card, LensPen and flash triggers! Everything works quite well for my purposes.
I also got an old flash working today too. Paid $10 for it at Goodwill and its worth quite a bit more than that.
This is a good Christmas, heh
on the Salvation Army controversy

The Salvation Army is a private organization. They offer their assistance to a lot of people. Assuming the allegations are true, and that they don’t serve certain people… they do have the right to do that. There are other groups who offer services to all individuals. If you don’t support their beliefs, then don’t give them your money. Give money to groups that you actually support....

Saddens me to see one of my favorite pro Pentax...
I’m not saying that Canon sucks or that Pentax is the best, but I am saying that it’s sad to lose someone who was really doing well with an “underdog” camera.

The trouble people have with this compliment is they think it implies that they don’t work hard and just got lucky. Personally, I think it’s as good a compliment as any. Someone sees your art and recognizes that you produce good work. That’s great.
